The Maintenance Team Member — Full-Time role is onsite in Staunton, VA. Compensation is $16–$20 per hour. Stuart Hall School is an independent Episcopal day and boarding school serving students in grades 6–12. Working under the Facilities Team Lead, the team member helps keep campus buildings, grounds, equipment, and other physical assets safe, functional, and welcoming. The role supports daily school operations through hands-on maintenance, repairs, grounds care, and event and project assistance.

What you'll do

• Perform assigned campus maintenance and repairs, grounds upkeep, and preventive maintenance
• complete work orders and routine tasks such as trash removal, deliveries, furniture moves, and event setup and breakdown
• learn basic plumbing, painting, patching, hardware replacement, and related tasks
• follow safety, security, and operational procedures
• report hazards and equipment concerns
• assist with seasonal grounds work, emergency response, vehicle and equipment care, and school-break projects
• participate in an on-call rotation and provide backup school bus driving when needed.
