Industrial Controls Electrician — Food Manufacturing

The Industrial Controls Electrician is an onsite role in the Manteno, IL area at a food manufacturing facility. Compensation is $32–$38 per hour. The role supports a high-volume food production operation by keeping plant electrical and controls systems safe and reliable. The electrician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical and automation systems to support continuous production. Preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and operator guidance help reduce downtime and maintain safe, stable line operations.

What you'll do

• Install, service, and repair wiring, conduit, panels, motors, and industrial control systems
• set up electrical components for production lines
• perform inspections and preventive maintenance
• diagnose faults and repair or replace components
• program and sustain PLCs and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
• complete safety inspections and risk assessments
• train production and maintenance personnel on safe operation and basic troubleshooting.
