Construction Project Manager, Residential and Commercial

The Construction Project Manager role is onsite in Bakersfield, CA. Base pay is $75,000–$100,000 per year, plus commission. Alert Disaster Restoration manages reconstruction projects following property damage from fires, floods, storms, and other disasters. The role oversees reconstruction from initial inspection through final handover, coordinating contractors, clients, and insurance stakeholders. It contributes to timely, compliant project completion by managing schedules, budgets, quality, documentation, and customer communication.

What you'll do

• Inspect sites and assess reconstruction needs
• develop project plans and schedules
• coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and restoration specialists
• manage budgets, expenses, change orders, invoicing, and client billing coordination
• oversee subcontractors and on-site teams
• coordinate materials, equipment, and labor
• ensure compliance with construction codes, safety standards, and insurance guidelines
• update clients on progress and resolve issues
• maintain permits, contracts, work orders, and claim records
• prepare reports
• manage inspections, punch lists, and closeout with insurance adjusters.
