What you'll do

• Prepare cost estimates and commercial proposals for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, replacement bundles, and repair projects
• review requests for quotation, drawings, specifications, and customer standards
• clarify scope and requirements with customers
• create material takeoffs, bills of material, and labor estimates
• analyze fabrication methods, code requirements, and production capabilities
• coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, quality, and project teams
• interpret ASME Code and material specifications
• evaluate supplier pricing and lead times and review vendor quotes
• identify risks and opportunities
• mentor junior estimators
• align quote schedules with manufacturing capacity and material availability
• maintain quote records and meet bid deadlines
• support continuous improvement by analyzing awarded and lost projects.
