Trial-Ready Litigation Paralegal

The Trial-Ready Litigation Paralegal role is hybrid and may be based in Austin or Plano, TX; compensation is not specified. Bowman and Brooke is a national product liability law firm defending manufacturers in complex lawsuits and mass torts. The role exists to support attorneys and case teams through litigation and trial preparation. The paralegal will prepare and proofread documents, assist with discovery and document review, organize electronic case files, prepare trial materials and exhibits, coordinate witnesses and subpoenas, attend trial, and analyze medical records for chronologies. Nationwide travel to attend trial is required.

What you'll do

• Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, agreements, and pleadings
• update case teams and alert attorneys to case needs
• assist with discovery, depositions, and subpoenas
• review and analyze documents
• manage electronic case files in iManage
• prepare trial materials, witnesses, subpoenas, and exhibits
• attend trial
• analyze medical records and prepare chronologies
• record accurate billing entries in line with client guidelines.
