Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Coordinator

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Coordinator role is onsite in Chicago Heights, IL. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour. The position supports the facility’s Social Services Department and resident safety and well-being. The coordinator helps implement programs and attends to residents’ emotional and social needs. Through orientation, safety rounds, support for outings, and encouragement of resident goals, the role contributes to the facility’s care philosophy and objectives.

What you'll do

• Assist with implementation of Social Services Department programs
• greet and orient new residents to the building and staff
• monitor entrances and exits and make scheduled rounds to support resident and staff safety
• assist residents with workshop and community outings, including checking hygiene, medications, and clothing
• stay current on behavioral emergency procedures and crisis management
• maintain awareness of resident goals and encourage residents to work toward them.
