What you'll do

• Assist crews with telecommunications facility installation, maintenance, repair, and removal
• handle fiber cable, conduit, poles, hardware, and materials
• prepare work areas
• assist with digging, trenching, boring, cable pulling, and backfilling
• load, unload, and organize tools and equipment
• assist with traffic control and utility identification
• maintain a safe work area and follow safety procedures
• report hazards and incidents
• perform assigned basic equipment care
• assist with emergency restoration and outage work when required.
