Leasing Consultant

The Leasing Consultant role is onsite in Plano, TX, at Legacy North. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, plus commissions. Preferred Apartment Communities aims to provide exceptional living experiences for residents and a supportive workplace for associates. The role supports leasing and resident service at a 1,600-unit property by engaging prospects, completing leasing paperwork, coordinating move-ins, responding to resident requests, and helping maintain the property’s presentation and occupancy goals.

What you'll do

• Conduct daily leasing activities and work toward individual and property leasing goals
• respond to prospect inquiries and follow up
• respond to resident requests
• qualify prospects and initiate background checks
• coordinate apartment readiness and move-in paperwork
• tour and visually inspect the property
• maintain leasing records
• perform light bookkeeping and office administration
• follow up with prospects within stated timeframes
• shop the competition and suggest ways to maximize revenue.
