The Fabrication Specialist (Welder) role is onsite in Odessa, TX, and pays $23–$30 per hour. GSS Construction & Oilfield Supply seeks a fabrication specialist to perform welding and fabrication work and assist with customer orders. The role fabricates, fits, assembles, repairs, and modifies piping, manifolds, pressure vessels, and structural components. It contributes to assigned fabrication projects by following drawings, welding procedures, safety practices, and shop organization requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and other materials as required
• fabricate, fit, and assemble piping, manifolds, pressure vessels, and structural components
• lay out, fit, and weld pipe saddles and assemblies
• operate welding equipment
• measure, cut, bevel, grind, and prepare materials
• repair or modify equipment when required
• assist with assembling customer orders, loading and unloading orders, and stocking items
• complete documentation and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
