The Senior Grant Specialist role is onsite in Ponte Vedra, FL, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule. Compensation is $59,200–$71,000 per year. K9s For Warriors provides service dogs at no financial cost to military veterans experiencing PTSD, traumatic brain injury, or military sexual trauma, with a mission to end veteran suicide. Working under the Grants Manager, the specialist coordinates grant research, proposal development, budgets, submissions, and reporting. The role builds funding relationships and supports the organization’s programs by securing and managing grant resources.

What you'll do

• Research funding prospects
• develop and write grant proposals
• assemble letters of intent, proposals, budgets, and presentations
• maintain funder relationships and acknowledge gifts
• track deadlines, submissions, communications, and awards
• coordinate reporting and cross-departmental data collection
• reconcile budgets to grant guidelines
• conduct facility tours and presentations
• create content to promote programs
• participate in special events
• fundraise $1.5 million or more annually.
