The Driver is an onsite, part-time position in Hockessin, DE, paying $17. The role supports resident transportation at The Summit, a senior living community managed by Discovery Management Group. The position exists to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation that supports residents’ independence, engagement, and quality of life. The driver transports residents to activities, appointments, and outings, assists with mobility devices, and maintains community vehicles and required inspection records.

What you'll do

• Transport residents to scheduled activities and appointments
• inspect vehicles and complete checklists and reports
• assist residents into and out of vehicles
• secure wheelchairs, scooters, and mobility devices
• communicate delays or service disruptions
• keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition
• clean, fuel, and service vehicles as needed
• follow routes, schedules, and safety procedures
• provide pickup and delivery services as needed.
