Scientist/Engineer III, JSE Information System Security Officer

Job overview

The Scientist/Engineer III, JSE Information System Security Officer role is onsite in Edwards, CA, with annual compensation of $120,000–$125,000. The position supports the 412th Test Wing Electronic Warfare Group Joint Simulation Environment and related Air Force Test Center organizations; GMRE provides engineering and technical services to its customers. The role provides information-system security oversight and engineering guidance for JSE, including security program integration, risk-management documentation, acquisition support, requirements development, and technical coordination. It helps project teams plan and execute JSE development while maintaining applicable security and systems-engineering requirements.

What you'll do

• Serve as the Information System Security Officer for the Joint Simulation Environment
• support information security, operational security, acquisition security, and special access programs
• advise project leadership
• develop and review security and acquisition documentation
• support systems engineering, requirements, technical reviews, risk management, integration planning, and technical coordination
• maintain required DoD Security+ certification.
