What you'll do

• Compile and transmit shipment data and documentation to customs brokers
• review customs entry documents and flag discrepancies
• apply established Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications and assist with classification research
• compile documentation for post-entry corrections, protests, and duty drawback or refund claims under guidance
• audit customs entries against source documents
• track shipments and clearance status
• communicate with brokers and freight forwarders
• research routine customs holds and documentation discrepancies
• track duty, tax, and fee payments
• maintain trade compliance records
• support CTPAT documentation
• follow and maintain process documentation
• monitor regulatory notices and report recurring errors or process gaps.
