Senior Finance Manager, Real Estate

The Senior Finance Manager, Real Estate role is onsite in Oakland, CA, with pay of $130,000–$150,000 per year. The Unity Council is a nonprofit social equity development corporation working to improve quality of life and build vibrant communities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the manager oversees finance and accounting functions for real estate and enterprise activities, supports affordable housing development through financial analysis and reporting, and provides leadership with projections and decision support.

What you'll do

• Oversee financial, accounting, budgeting, contracting, cost allocation, compliance reporting, and financial systems
• prepare and review financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and audit schedules
• manage financial aspects of affordable housing projects and financing
• build pro formas and cash-flow models
• identify financial risks and funding gaps
• partner with development, property management, finance, and external stakeholders
• supervise assigned staff.
