The Secret-Cleared Embedded Software Engineer role is onsite in Owego, NY, with compensation of $47–$77 per hour. The engineers support mission-critical programs for an aerospace and defense company in a classified environment; two openings are available.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain secure processing applications and embedded software for bare-metal and real-time operating system environments. Integrate software with microcontrollers, ASICs, FPGAs, and peripheral hardware
• develop firmware, drivers, and hardware-abstraction layers. Maintain CI/CD pipelines, create and execute verification procedures, conduct peer reviews and unit testing, and produce technical documentation. An active Full Secret security clearance is required to start.
