The Direct Support Professional, South Wing role is onsite in Rutland, MA. Devereux’s South Wing program serves males ages 15–21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. The role provides direct supervision and compassionate therapeutic support, helping youth build appropriate behaviors and daily living skills. Staff contribute to individualized routines and activities that support each young person’s growth and development.

What you'll do

• Provide direct supervision to ensure youth safety and security
• provide therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment
• engage youth, teach and prompt appropriate behaviors, and provide positive reinforcement
• teach and assist with activities of daily living
• complete progress notes and incident reports.
