Wound Nurse (Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse)

The Wound Nurse role is onsite in Nassawadox, VA. Pay is $34–$42 per hour. The role supports healing and prevention through treatment, documentation, staff education, interdisciplinary collaboration, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Conduct skin assessments
• develop and implement individualized wound care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• perform prescribed wound treatments and dressing changes
• monitor healing and document progress
• educate staff on prevention and dressing techniques
• collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• maintain regulatory compliance
• participate in QAPI programs and care plan meetings
• mentor nursing staff
• order and maintain wound care supplies.

Why this role
