What you'll do

• Support structural design using hand calculations and computer analysis models
• research applicable building codes and site amendments
• document design loads
• coordinate structural work with other disciplines
• review geotechnical reports, submittals, shop drawings, and calculations
• draft sketches, contract drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD
• assist with takeoffs, cost estimates, field measurements, inspections, and condition assessments.
