Medical Insurance Biller and Authorizations Representative

The Medical Insurance Biller and Authorizations Representative role is onsite in Warren, MI. Compensation is $23–$26 per hour. Integrated Autism Centers provides autism diagnostic and therapy services, including ABA, speech, and occupational therapy, to children and families across Metro Detroit. The role manages the billing cycle from authorization through payment so services are billed accurately and revenue cycle issues are addressed. It supports continuity of care by submitting claims, resolving denials, tracking authorizations, reconciling payments, and coordinating payer documentation with clinical staff.

What you'll do

• Submit clean claims for ABA, speech, and occupational therapy services to commercial payers and Medicaid
• verify codes, modifiers, units, and documentation
• work denials, appeals, and resubmissions
• submit and track authorizations and reauthorizations
• post and reconcile ERAs/EOBs
• monitor aging claims and report collections and claim status
• verify coverage and benefits
• coordinate payer documentation requests with clinical staff.
