Electrical Project Engineer

Job overview

The Electrical Project Engineer role is onsite in Louisville, KY, with office and field work and travel up to 50%. Compensation is $80,000–$115,000 per year. The engineer supports Control Touch Systems’ electrical engineering projects from concept through commissioning and after-sales support. The role leads assigned project execution, coordinating schedules, team tasks, control-system design and programming, testing, installation, and commissioning. It contributes to safe, high-quality delivery while supporting continuous improvement in engineering processes.

What you'll do

• Lead the electrical engineering scope of assigned projects from concept through after-sales support
• develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans
• assign and monitor team tasks
• design control systems, including power distribution, device and panel layouts, networks, and device selection
• program HMI and PLC systems
• create system operation descriptions
• communicate technical information to stakeholders
• support testing, installation, and commissioning
• identify process improvements.
