The Golf Course Superintendent role is onsite at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, FL. Compensation is $90,000–$110,000 per year, commensurate with experience; relocation assistance is provided. Bear Lakes is a private club with two championship golf courses, a practice facility, tennis program, and clubhouse. The superintendent leads day-to-day maintenance and agronomic management of an assigned course, translating course standards and agronomic objectives into daily operations. The role oversees staff, budgets, turf and landscape care, irrigation and water use, equipment, and maintenance scheduling around member play.

What you'll do

• Manage golf course maintenance, agronomic operations, costs, and personnel
• coordinate with golf and other departments
• assist with construction, renovation, and maintenance
• manage operating and capital budgets
• oversee turf, plants, trees, wetlands, irrigation, and water-use reporting
• recruit, supervise, train, and evaluate staff
• oversee safe equipment operation and regulated chemical applications
• maintain records, reporting, and inventory
• schedule work around member play and outings.
