Automotive Technician

The Automotive Technician role is onsite in Veneta, OR, with a Monday–Thursday schedule of four 10-hour days, 6:45 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Pay is $20–$35 per hour. Pape Automotive is a family-owned local auto repair business focused on lasting relationships, service, and quality car care. The technician helps keep customers’ vehicles in good condition through routine maintenance, light repairs, and inspections. The role also supports senior technicians with complex repairs and diagnostics, documents work in Shop-Ware, and collaborates with service advisors and other technicians to support efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and battery replacements
• inspect brakes, tires, suspension, safety, reliability, and performance
• repair or replace minor components
• assist senior technicians with complex repairs and diagnostics
• record repair notes, recommendations, and inspection photos in Shop-Ware
• maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
• collaborate with service advisors and technicians.
