The Temporary Environmental Laboratory Analyst works onsite in Cedar Falls, IA. The starting rate is $17.75 per hour, based on experience. The analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard scientific and EPA methods, records and reports results, and performs routine laboratory and instrument tasks under close supervision and established quality procedures.
What you'll do
- Prepare environmental samples using standard techniques
- perform chemical analyses and calculations
- record and report data and unusual test occurrences
- perform routine instrument maintenance
- follow GMP/GLP, EHS, QA, and SOP requirements
- maintain a clean work area
- train on complex instrumentation and data systems
- aliquot and weigh samples
- wash glassware
- follow written or verbal protocols and work safely.
