The Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical role is onsite in Zanesville, OH, on day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Compensation is $45–$50 per hour. The 13-week contract is offered through Generis Tek for a client in Zanesville. The nurse provides direct care to patients with medical conditions and postoperative needs. Through assessment, treatment, monitoring, education, and coordination with the care team, the role supports safe outcomes and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Assess patients and monitor vital signs and condition changes
• develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
• administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments
• monitor laboratory and diagnostic results and treatment responses
• provide acute, chronic, and postoperative care
• perform wound, dressing, catheter, drain, and IV-line care
• manage pain
• recognize deterioration and notify physicians or initiate emergency response
• document in the EMR
• educate patients and families
• coordinate care with healthcare professionals
• follow infection-control, medication-safety, and fall-prevention practices
• participate in handoffs and discharge planning.
