The Clinical Psychologist role is onsite at Byars Health Clinic, Pope Army Airfield, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Pay is $55–$60 per hour. This full-time federal contract position supports military readiness and the mental health needs of Active Duty Air Force personnel. As part of the multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team, the psychologist conducts evaluations, diagnoses behavioral health conditions, provides evidence-based treatment and counseling, and consults with healthcare and military professionals. The work supports service members’ behavioral health needs and military-specific programs.

What you'll do

• Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based psychotherapy, individual counseling, and group sessions
• administer and interpret psychological tests
• complete alcohol and substance abuse evaluations
• consult with physicians, psychiatrists, commanders, legal authorities, and healthcare professionals
• participate in treatment planning, meetings, and quality improvement
• maintain confidentiality and complete required training.

Why this role

Requires a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program, an APA-accredited internship, an unrestricted psychologist license, at least one year of recent clinical experience, an NPI, and U.S. citizenship. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; federal holidays observed; no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
