Fitness Center Assistant

The Fitness Center Assistant role is onsite in Lake Saint Louis, MO. Pay is $17.06 per hour. The position supports St. Charles Community College’s fitness center and campus wellness activities. The assistant helps maintain a safe, welcoming facility by monitoring activity, assisting users, maintaining equipment and common areas, and supporting wellness programming. What you'll do

• Open and close the fitness center
• monitor activity and participant safety
• inspect the facility and report maintenance or safety concerns
• clean workout areas and equipment
• restock supplies
• greet and assist users
• check patrons in and verify access eligibility
• answer questions about policies, equipment, hours, and programs
• respond to concerns and escalate issues
• follow emergency protocols and complete incident reports
• assist with wellness events and registration
• complete shift reports and records
• attend meetings and training. CPR/AED and First Aid certification is required or must be obtained.
