Director of Operations

The Director of Operations role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with compensation of $40–$45 per hour. The position leads day-to-day operations at the Union Hills clinic and provides operational support across Mountain View Headache and Spine Institute and affiliated businesses. The director coordinates staff, workflows, patient access, compliance, and performance so clinic operations are efficient, consistent, and patient-centered. The role also supports organizational initiatives and operational needs across locations as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily clinic operations, staffing coverage, patient flow, scheduling, and readiness
• monitor capacity and recommend improvements
• coordinate front-office, clinical support, referral, authorization, billing, and external partner needs
• manage supplies, equipment, vendors, and facility requests within approved budgets
• direct and coach staff
• support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and scheduling
• address escalated patient concerns
• monitor revenue-cycle workflows
• support compliance, audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement
• and travel to other locations as needed.

Why this role

Requires five or more years of progressive clinical practice management experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, or at least 10 years of progressive medical practice management experience in lieu of a degree. Travel between organizational locations is required as needed.
