The Second Cook role is onsite in North Attleboro, MA. Compensation is $18.07–$25.30 per hour. The cook supports Hebrew SeniorLife’s food service and resident and patient care mission, preparing meals for customers while recognizing resident and patient dignity and choice. The role prepares and presents food according to production sheets, standardized recipes, portion controls, schedules, and special diet needs. It also maintains food safety and sanitation, manages inventory and supplies, and coordinates with the kitchen team to provide timely meals.

What you'll do

• Prepare entrees, vegetables, salads, and desserts
• follow production sheets, recipes, portion controls, schedules, and special diet requirements
• maintain proper food temperatures and presentation
• label, date, and rotate food
• clean and maintain equipment and work areas
• comply with food safety and sanitation standards
• control inventory and supplies
• log food temperatures
• coordinate meal service and specials with the Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef.

Why this role
