The Materials Coordinator, Surgery role is onsite in Alamosa, CO, with pay of $18.09–$25.25 per hour. San Luis Valley Health’s Surgery department needs clerical support and materials acquisition and distribution for peri-operative services. The role also coordinates repairs, maintenance, vendor communication, and equipment training to support department operations.

What you'll do

• Order stock and non-stock supplies
• deliver items and monitor PAR levels and expiration dates
• manage special surgeon requests for equipment, instruments, and implants
• maintain purchase orders and implant logs
• coordinate equipment checks, repairs, loaners, and routine maintenance
• research product alternatives
• maintain the surgery charge master
• coordinate equipment in-services
• assist surgery staff with information and supplies.
