The Die Maintenance Mechanic I role is onsite in Coachella, CA, full-time, and pays $23.19–$29.49 per hour. Armtec Defense Technologies manufactures ordnance components and countermeasures at its Coachella production facility. The mechanic maintains and prepares molding dies and related systems so production can make quality parts safely. The role builds on trainee-level die work and adds alignment, setup, repair, and process-system responsibilities within the Die Maintenance Department.

What you'll do

• Clean, buff, polish, and power-wash dies and tooling
• assemble, disassemble, and set up dies
• complete work orders
• perform die alignments and learn to shim and float dies
• cut and install screens for male dies
• adjust spray guns
• maintain steam traps and replace steam and vacuum hoses
• apply knowledge of steam heating, vacuum systems, and pneumatics
• follow ethics and business conduct policies.
