What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, walk-in coolers and freezers, and ice machines
• perform preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
• install equipment and components to manufacturer specifications and local code
• interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• recover and charge refrigerants in compliance with EPA and company standards
• use diagnostic tools
• complete service tickets and communicate findings
• maintain service-truck inventory and order parts
• follow safety protocols and participate in training
• mentor apprentices when applicable.
