Job overview

The Accounting Manager role is hybrid in Seattle, WA, with one to two in-office days per week, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $100,000–$135,000 per year. The role supports Thrive Communities’ property management operations and its purpose of delivering results for clients and elevating residents’ living experiences. The manager leads the accounting team and oversees property accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury and redevelopment accounting. The role also partners with clients and property teams to strengthen financial controls, communication and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

  • Lead accounting team hiring, onboarding, training, coaching and performance management
  • oversee monthly accounting cycles, cash-flow monitoring, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
  • manage owner distributions, draw requests, debt service, tax and insurance payments
  • oversee budgeting, audit requests, treasury and general ledger structures
  • direct redevelopment accounting
  • support property systems implementation
  • advise clients, site teams and managers
  • develop policies and procedures.
