What you'll do

• Recruit and draw blood donors
• screen donors for eligibility according to applicable standards
• perform whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy
• collect blood at offsite drives and donor centers
• obtain and label specimens
• document donor records, collection information, and deferrals
• follow quality-control and regulatory requirements
• assist with donor recruitment
• check and replenish supplies
• maintain clean and organized work areas
• follow departmental and hospital procedures.
