What you'll do
- Safely transport residents to medical appointments, community outings, and other approved destinations
- assist with transfers and wheelchair support
- remain with residents during appointments when needed
- coordinate schedules with nursing staff and outside providers
- communicate resident needs, schedule changes, and condition updates
- complete pre-trip inspections
- maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
- follow facility policies, state regulations, and infection-control guidelines
- provide supportive care consistent with CNA training.
