What you'll do

• Inspect the truck before and after trips and submit condition reports
• read bills of lading
• load or unload or assist with loading and unloading
• maintain the truck with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid
• obtain customer signatures
• inventory and inspect goods
• secure loads
• drive tractor-trailer combinations in compliance with commercial driving regulations
• observe road signals and signs
• maneuver safely at loading and unloading locations
• maintain driver logs according to ICC and DOT regulations.
