The Electro-Mechanical Technician III/IV role is onsite in Clifton, NJ. The stated pay range is $35–$50 per hour. Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply operates an industrial laundry facility supporting its uniform, linen and facility services. The technician maintains, troubleshoots and repairs production equipment and industrial systems to reduce downtime, improve reliability and support safe, efficient operations. The position also documents maintenance work and collaborates with operations, engineering and maintenance colleagues.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and steam systems
• maintain motors, controls, VFDs, PLCs, sensors and circuits up to 480V three-phase
• perform preventive and predictive maintenance on laundry and production equipment
• document work orders, parts usage and equipment history in the CMMS
• follow safety policies and OSHA requirements, including LOTO and arc-flash procedures
• support equipment installations and upgrades
• collaborate with operations, engineering and maintenance personnel
• provide guidance and on-the-job training to less experienced technicians as needed.
