What you'll do
- Follow residents’ nutritional requirements
- provide diet instruction and counseling to residents and families
- monitor weight changes and determine interventions for residents at nutrition risk
- hold nutrition-at-risk meetings with care teams
- support menu development and approve substitutions
- follow assessment, care plan, and charting requirements
- plan meals and update systems
- monitor sanitation compliance
- handle and store food properly and maintain temperature logs
- support kitchen safety and disaster preparedness
- analyze patient data.

Why this role
Requires an associate’s degree in dietetics or nutrition and completion of a CADE-approved dietetic technician program. Industrial food production experience is preferred; long-term care experience is a plus.
