What you'll do

• Assist the registered dietitian with monitoring and documenting food intake
• review meal preferences, allergies, and dietary needs
• assist with menu planning and meal selections
• report concerns about intake, weight changes, or nutrition
• communicate diet orders and meal requirements
• help ensure meals and snacks follow prescribed diets
• maintain confidential nutrition records
• support patient and family education when directed by the registered dietitian
• follow food safety, sanitation, infection-control, and regulatory requirements.
