What you'll do

  • Manage assigned staff, including orientation, supervision, evaluations, hiring involvement, and disciplinary actions
  • provide infant and early childhood mental health consultation and prevention services across funded counties and settings
  • offer referrals when clients show signs of mental health treatment needs
  • provide prevention education and alcohol and other drug information to parents and guardians
  • document outcomes for grants and contracts
  • assist with program development and implementation, grant writing, data collection, and budgets
  • use required documentation systems
  • develop community programming
  • and participate in department and agency committees and projects.

Why this role

A bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, child and family studies, or a related field is required. Ohio professional licensure is preferred; required credentials and certifications include the Ohio ECMH Professional Credential when eligible, OCPS or OCPC certification, and CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI within 90 days.
