Substance Abuse Counselor

The Substance Abuse Counselor role is onsite in Clovis, CA. Compensation is $27 per hour. The GEO Group provides correctional and community reentry services, including evidence-based rehabilitation and reintegration support.

What you'll do

• Coordinate substance abuse programming
• schedule intakes and individual and group sessions
• facilitate psychoeducational and behavior-modification groups
• conduct risk and needs assessments and create treatment plans
• document participant progress
• coordinate with case managers and referral sources
• and help participants address barriers to treatment completion.
