Job overview

The Family Law Paralegal role is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and is full-time. Annual base pay is $65,000–$90,000, with additional incentives tied to billable hours and KPI achievement. The role supports Mayersohn Law Group’s growing Family Law practice and its work on sensitive family matters. This paralegal helps attorneys manage active cases by preparing legal documents, organizing disclosures and discovery, tracking filings and deadlines, communicating with clients, and supporting hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials. The work contributes to accurate, timely case preparation and responsive client service.

What you'll do

• Draft and organize family-law pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and related documents
• prepare financial affidavits and disclosures
• maintain case files, deadlines, and court calendars
• prepare Florida e-filings and coordinate service
• communicate with clients
• assist attorneys with hearing, mediation, deposition, and trial preparation
• maintain confidentiality and meet billable-hour and performance expectations.
