Houseparents, Full-Time - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required. This is an onsite role in El Paso, IL. Compensation is approximately $44,768.00 per person per year, with total compensation per couple around $168,000 including housing and benefits. Milton Hershey School provides an extraordinary, cost-free education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This role exists to provide a structured, family-like environment for students living in on-campus homes. Houseparents are responsible for the daily care, guidance, supervision, and support of approximately 8-13 students, fostering their academic, emotional, and social development.

What you'll do

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities, and planning/engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience

High school diploma or GED required; Experience working or volunteering with youth.
