The Registered Nurse (RN), Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation role is onsite in Chesapeake, VA, with base compensation of $38–$43.45 per hour, plus shift differentials. The RN joins Deep Creek Health & Rehabilitation’s skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. The role exists to deliver resident-centered nursing care, monitor health and treatment responses, and coordinate with the care team to support safe, high-quality outcomes.

What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care according to physician orders, individualized care plans, and regulations. Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and responses to treatment
• administer medications and treatments
• communicate changes to physicians, supervisors, and families
• develop and evaluate nursing interventions
• coordinate care with CNAs, therapists, physicians, and other professionals
• educate residents and families
• maintain clinical documentation
• and guide nursing assistants.

Why this role

Virginia RN license or valid multistate license authorizing practice in Virginia and current CPR/BLS certification are required. The posting offers a $10,000 full-time sign-on bonus or, subject to terms, an additional $2.25 per hour instead; 12-hour shifts are available.
