Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is an onsite, full-time position in Saint Paul, MN, paying $24 to $28 per hour. The technician supports TLC Electronics’ manufacturing equipment and facility upkeep. The role exists to keep equipment and facilities safe, functional, and available for production through repairs, preventive maintenance, and accurate records. It also supports compliance with company quality procedures and applicable regulatory requirements, while coordinating specialized work with qualified contractors when needed.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment
• diagnose basic mechanical issues and replace components
• perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document work
• maintain supplies and parts inventory
• perform general building repairs and monitor HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, and drainage systems
• complete basic electrical work within qualifications
• coordinate specialized contractors
• follow safety, lockout/tagout, quality, and regulatory procedures
• maintain equipment records.

Why this role

Two years of related facilities or machine maintenance experience required; high school diploma or equivalent work experience. Associate degree in Facilities Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance and Komax wire processing equipment experience preferred.
