What you'll do

• Install instruments, stands, conduit, tubing, and piping
• interpret work orders, specifications, blueprints, and other drawings
• use power tools and appropriate equipment safely
• handle piping materials
• check flows, pressures, and temperatures in sample systems
• monitor sample-system repairs safely
• operate site test equipment
• support instrument reapplications
• design and construct sample systems including wiring and conduit
• coordinate work with other technicians
• teach others when needed.
