The Charge Nurse role is onsite in Hunt Valley, MD, and pays $41.87–$52.27 per hour. ERC Pathlight provides treatment for eating disorders and mood, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. The Charge Nurse leads and coordinates the nursing care team’s daily work while providing direct nursing care as appropriate. The role supports safe, effective patient care by coordinating staffing and assignments, guiding staff, monitoring care quality, and working with the broader patient care team.

What you'll do

• Schedule, lead, and oversee day-to-day nursing care team activities
• supervise and mentor staff during assigned shifts
• coordinate unit patient care activities and staff/patient assignments
• provide guidance, consultation, and training
• coordinate care with other units and the care team
• oversee and provide direct nursing care as required
• oversee quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• participate in program and policy development
• determine staffing levels based on census, acuity, and availability
• evaluate care effectiveness and identify issues affecting outcomes. On-call shifts may be required based on business needs.

Why this role
