Compound Management Associate

Job overview

The Compound Management Associate works onsite in Cambridge, MA. Pay is $30–$37 per hour. The position is a 12-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget. The role supports a prominent client of The Fountain Group. The associate maintains accurate compound records and inventory so research materials are registered, traceable, and available to project teams. The role also coordinates compound logistics and vendor interactions, maintains workflow procedures, and contributes to improvements in data integrity and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Register synthesized and externally sourced compounds in the electronic database
• maintain compound metadata and sample history
• audit and reconcile physical inventory with electronic records
• investigate discrepancies
• ensure research materials are available to project teams
• coordinate domestic and international shipments and transfers
• create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials
• investigate deviations and prevent recurrence
• lead continuous-improvement initiatives
• serve as an operational contact for CROs and vendors
• partner with project teams, procurement, and quality functions
• contribute operational input to vendor onboarding and performance discussions.
