The Assistant General Manager - Proper Brands role is onsite in Kansas City, MO, with compensation of $19 per hour plus tips. This full-time position supports daily operations at Proper’s dispensary and its medical cannabis patient-care team. Working with the General Manager, the assistant manager helps oversee dispensary operations, compliance, staff, inventory, and financial and operational goals. The role contributes to safe, compliant service by supporting team development, patient care, accurate records, and adherence to Missouri and local cannabis regulations.

What you'll do

• Assist with day-to-day dispensary operations and implementation of company practices and procedures
• support financial and operational goals
• maintain management, inventory, purchasing, and financial reports
• assist with POS, inventory, and security system audits
• perform daily product counts
• support regulatory compliance and safety protocols
• receive and record orders and deliveries
• maintain product and vendor knowledge
• create weekly schedules
• assist with customer relations, patient care, and management of dispensary staff.
