General Laborer, Production Line 1 — First Shift

The General Laborer, Production Line 1 role is onsite in Crest Hill, IL, on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pay is $17.01 per hour. Alliance Workforce is hiring for a food manufacturing facility producing pizza products; the opportunity is temp-to-hire. The production associate supports line operations through material handling, packaging, labeling, and rework while maintaining a clean and safe work area. The work helps keep production moving and products correctly packaged and identified.

What you'll do

• Feed pans and trays onto the production line
• package, re-case, repackage, and rework products
• apply shipping labels
• verify production codes, labels, packaging, and materials
• prepare materials and equipment
• read production codes and make basic coder-machine adjustments as needed
• follow safety, GMP, quality, and food-safety procedures
• maintain a clean work area
• return unused materials
• clean and shut down coding and taping equipment
• assist with basic troubleshooting and train associates when needed.
