The Therapeutic Recreation Aide role is an onsite, part-time position in Redwood Falls, MN. Pay is $19.09–$21.42 per hour. The aide supports therapeutic recreation programming at River Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center, part of Monarch Healthcare Management’s network of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. The role facilitates activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and psychosocial needs, supporting engagement and quality of life. Documentation, care coordination, and assistance with resident participation help uphold residents’ well-being and rights.

What you'll do

• Deliver daily therapeutic programming aligned with residents’ individualized plans of care
• facilitate group and one-on-one activities
• maintain activity calendars and adjust schedules based on census changes
• assist with resident transportation and support during in-facility and off-site events
• help volunteers contribute programming
• document participation and progress
• contribute to care coordination
• follow HIPAA, infection control, safety, and QAPI requirements.
